Research conducted by groups such as the World Health Organization, National Cancer Institute and numerous others have uncovered evidence of links between the consumption of red meat and an increased risk of certain cancers such as colorectal, pancreatic and prostate among others. Research also indicates links between red meat and the development of other medical conditions such as heart disease and diverticulitis.
