Prolonged sitting: ‘Exercise does not offset health risks,’ say AHA

Recent studies and a new statement from the American Heart Association confirm that irrespective of time we may allocate to exercising in the day, sitting for prolonged periods of time is “detrimental” to our health increasing risks of obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and more.
